The Posey28 is the same as the Cat8, just a different paint job. The Cat8 in a -10 is absolutely legendary. Huge pop, mid balanced swing, large sweet spot, and a very forgiving barrel. The knob technology really does cut down on stung on mis hits. The bats look great, sound great, hit great, are forgiving, and have proven to be very durable. Thousands of hits on this line for our team from a 28/18 , 29/19, 30/20 , and 30/22. Incredible, durable bats from Marucci. A team favorite.This bat is amazing. I couldn't believe how much more improved distance and less vibration my 8 yr old has gotten from switching to this brand. He actually isn't afraid of and batting cages now, lol. He can hit off the 60 mph like it's nothing. On the field. Line drives and outfield consistently.Good bat for my 8 year old son he’s been having a lot of fun with it. Only thing about this bat is it has a small sweet spot on the barrel if you hit the ball on it, it flies. If you don’t hit that sweet spot the bat seems dead. We had to find the sweet spot and help my son hold the bat accordinglyBought this for my 10 year old son who weighs 80 pounds and plays on a travel ball team. Have not been able to play in a game with it due to Covid, but he has repeatedly been hitting bombs (230-240 feet) with it during batting practice. I highly recommend this bat for any player, as my son has a great swing and has always hit well, but this bat immediately added 10-15 feet of distance right out of the package.Bought this for my son playing on an 8u AA Travel team. Great bat, excellent durability and has a sweet ping sound. We have put around 2000 balls on it in winter workouts and it performs well. Cannot go wrong with the Posey28 for Rec or Travel ball.This is a very nice bat and fits my son just great!! Will purchase more bats from this company in the future.The bat is phenomenal. My son loves it. The paint is prone to chipping though. Arrived with one small chip and many more have appeared after a month of cage work. The paint on his old Cat 7 seemed to hold up much better. Not worried about it though because it's just cosmetic.Fantastic bat, tons of pop. My son plays 11UAA and loves it. Although it doesn't change the performance, the paint gets scratched easily. He says it's better than his old Marucci Cat 7
