31” drop 5 bat.Black and gold color scheme is cool. We added a red Lizard Skin to add some flare.Our 13 year old transitioned from a CF Zen 31” drop 8 to this one with little to no issue.This bat took a little longer than the drop 8 to break in. About two months in, this bat is really showing pop. He is consistently hitting 300+.When it comes to bats, the players feel and confidence comes first. If you are looking for a 2 or 3 piece composite bat, this one is a beast.Works great a lot of Pop if you don't have one you'll wish you didOf all the bats were observed in 13u this past season, this was by far the best bat. At 13U, you want to move up to -5 (the boys are betting bigger, and need to begin preparing for BBCOR in 14u). But you will also find that -5 drives the ball better than -10 or -8. Heavier = driving power. Couple that with this bats natural "pop", and it is an outstanding bat.Heading to 13u....I suggest buying this.I bought a 32" drop 8 for my 12 year old son. He is 64" and weighs 140 lbs. This size was recommended by Demarini for sons size. This bat has amazing pop and no durability problem. Hits about 220 feet. I was told by Demarini that people order to light of bat for size of kid, and that's why they crack. Drop 10 is made for average size 9 and 10 year olds. I recommend calling Demarini and take their advice. By the size they recommend and you will not be disappointed.Excluding product as described and very fast shipping by seller.Apparently we've been the only family in the world who hasn't cracked a composite bat. With that said, my son (12yo, 95lbs) switched to a DeMarini from a Rawlings Quatro. The only reason was he needed a heavier bat. The Quatro was well broken in and had TONS on pop. The DeMarini matched it out of the wrapper... That was surprising. I'm excited to see what it can do once it's broken in. Needless to say, no complaints so far.My son’s baseball batSecond DeMarini CF Zen that we have purchased in 2 months. First one cracked but Dick's honored the warranty being under 60 days. They did not have the same bat so we purchased this one instead. Hoping for better luck with this one.
