Does exactly what it’s designed to do. Not too tall at all. Fit great on my rebel 1100 with some modifications due to the extra wide speedometer: Had to cut and reduce the mounting poles’ length to prevent rubbing against it and get the shield in the right position. Easy to do with some bolt cutters. If you’re wondering if it vibrates, it does only a little due to the engine but it’s no different than the side mirrors shaking from the engine and it’s not noticeable. On the freeway, doesn’t vibrate from the wind provided you tighten it down enough. I’m now able to sit upright comfortably going down the freeway at 80+ mph and at an angle, wind is deflected over my helmet.
