SIMIRON Casting Resin is a professional-grade, high-performance, ultra-clear, self-leveling, and high-gloss 100% solids deep-casting epoxy resin coating designed to be poured or cast up to 2-inches thick. SIMIRON Casting Resin is great for river tables, live edge tables and countertops, bar tops, wood finishes, artwork and other creative applications. For a truly custom appearance, SIMIRON Table Top Epoxy can be mixed with RokRez Metallic Additives, pigments and mica powders, glitter, glow-in-the-dark pigments, alcohol inks, resin dyes and tints. SIMIRON Casting Resin can be poured up to 2-inches thick with excellent air release, making it simple to achieve flawless results. It has an easy-to-use 2:1 mix ratio.

Minimal shrinkage, Simiron’s Epoxy Resin can be mixed with metallic powders and pigments.

Resin takes a very long time to harden, in a warm room with surface temps on the resin between 90 and 95 degrees, this resin takes 36 hours or so to become semi solid, full cure takes much longer. Resin is perfect for when you need super clear, bubble free pieces, but anything you put in will sink, even after 24 hours. Having a very hard time with this resin mixed with mica pigments, specifically shimmery/metallic mica's, the shimmer falls out completely leaving the face of your mold covered in whatever color shimmer is in the mica while the back has none. Also due to the long cure time and how thin this resin is, colors bleed and blend way too easy. If you are looking for deep pour, alcohol ink tinted resin that you want great bubble release and clarity, this is your resin, if you are going to be putting things into your resin or want to keep the mixed mica look, find a resin that cures faster.
