Purchased this bat for my son who is a high school junior. He has used it in multiple travel ball tournaments. Has been durable and has good pop. One of his first hits was a one-hop to the wall on a minor league field, have to give at least some credit to quality bat.HE HAS BROKEN TWO IN TWO YEARS USUALLY WITH HITS ON THE TIP OF THE BAT...HE HITS THE BALL AS FAR AS HIS EASTON SL1 METAL BAT IF NOT FARTHER....140 LBS AND HE HITS HOME RUNS 350 TO 400 FT...OF COURSE THE EASTON IS STILL HERE AND HE NEEDED A NEW MARUCCI FOR THIS SUMMERS TRAVEL BALL.....Perfectly balanced, outstanding pop, durable. The crack of the bat when you hit the ball on the sweet spot is amazing! Truly an increible bat to own.Love it; went 5-8 with 2 BB's in my first tournament with this batI am a catcher at the University of Kansas and to this day, this is still my favorite wood bat to swing.
