It is light and easy for my daughter to move around. Her friends ask about it all the time. It has a smiley face on the back and the bright yellow color makes it perfect for the 5 years old. Also, it has adjustable leg rests. Highly recommended! One more thing, 2 days delivery was much better than any other pharmacy offers. We waited for 1 week and it never came for the other one.I use this wheelchair whenever I watch t.v. with my sister. It's much more comfortable than the walker I had been using. Being short as I am, it's hard to find comfortable chairs. What I'm not that happy with is that the leg rests do not swing out. They instead swing up and I have to be very careful when I get in or out of the wheelchair. I am getting used to it but, it isn't the easiest thing for me to do. But the overall size of the wheelchair is good for a short person.I am a 63y o Nursing Home Resident. I am 56 inches tall and 117lbs. I bought this chair to replace the one I had which was the same chair. I had been using it for years and actually had worn the tires to the point of having no tread. The chair was assembled in about 20 min. It is quite comfortable and just the right size. If anyone of my approximate. size needs a wheelchair; I highly recommend this one. I feel fortunate to have found the same chair on Amazon. Thank you.Our 6 year old daughter zooms around everywhere in this wheelchair, its very easy for her to use and easy for me to lift and fold into the car. She can lift the arms out of the way to roll up to her school desk. The wheelchair also has Rollie bars on the back to prevent tipping backwards. It would have cost us $200 a month to rent a chair so we bought this affordable one instead and when she is done with it we will donate it to a child who needs it.My son has diaplegic cerebral palsy. He will be ten in May, weighs about 53 pounds and is 4'5" tall. I was very anxious to order this chair because I couldn't "see" any pictures of a child like mine in the chair. But I was very excited and relieved when it arrived. It was easy to put together, well made and quite sporty! Ryan loved it the minute he saw it. Just a few more things for parents trying to decide if this chair is a good buy and fit for them. My son is pretty ambulatory with his walker. He does has low trunk tone and spasticity but overall his CP is mild to moderate. We have the chair set on max height, (it comes set in the lower adjustment and you have to remove the wheels to make the chair higher). This chair is perfect for us as it is super easy to fold and load and unload. I do wish the manufacturer would add a tray option for this device. And if your child is skinny like mine, you might have to get creative with the seat belt. It's so nice to get Ryan off the floor and able to be more a part of family activities. Oh, and I would estimate he has at least 1-2 years growing room in this chair. I hope this helps! We purchased this wheelchair for our 5-year-old granddaughter after she broke her leg. We were astounded by how quickly it was delivered, and its simple assembly and ease of operation allowed our granddaughter to regain mobility within days of her break. Since it folds up nicely and is easily transportable, she was able to return to kindergarten after just one week of absence. Best of all, she loves her wheelchair and even says goodnight to her new “friend” before bed!I really like this wheelchair because it is very light and easy to use, but we don't use it for an everyday use, we jut bought it for some travels where it is easier bring a wheelchair that you can fold and fits everywhere. It is well done wheelchair but it is not made with an orthopedic or similar back rest or cushion seat. Said that, you need to have it in mind if you plan to use it for several hour per day, so bring a cushion if your child need it or uses something similar normally. Because it doesn't have any features for neck or head, and sometimes my child needs to take a nap on it, I attach a pillow pet folded on one arm rest and it stay perfectly to rest and take a nap when need it. First time to use you need to be careful when fold it with your fingers but when you learn how to do it, it will be easier. Overall this is a good product for children.I bought this for my daughter while we waited for her insurance to cover a new one for her (about 6 months) after her last chair became too much for us to travel with. The legs were too short for her, which I would have known had the company answered my question instead of just saying "the legs can be adjusted." The handles are adjustable for height, which is great because my younger children like to help push the chair. Unfortunately, they still move even when tightened down. The legs will raise up and that was a boon because my daughter's feet sometimes swell but it doesn't hold much weight. Her legs are very thin so that wasn't a problem but when my 1 year old leaned on one of them, it went straight down. No one was hurt but both kids were a little anxious of it after that. The fact is, you get what you pay for. It has served us well enough while we await a better chair but I'll be glad to get rid of it.
