I went on a few deep dives with a bare elastek 5mm suit but only had an under the chin aqua lung hood. At 58 degrees, I decided it'd be worth trying to purchase this hood. It definitely made a positive difference at the same depths and temperatures. Very pleased with the performance. Would be 5 stars, except there was already a loose piece of stitching inside the hood. I intend to silicone this to prevent it from coming off, so nothing detrimental. Just enough to keep it from being a 5 star.
