Great quality good pop slightly pricy for what you get thoughI liked the feel of this bat. The 34 inch Marruci AP5 has pop! I like it because I can hit singles without much effort. I can hit the ball to right field on balls over the plate outside no problem. It's got that big leauge sound when you hit the baseball because it is bone rubbed. This bat is ausome! During the season I got around 7 hits in 15 at bats. I bought another Marruci AP5 because the quality is Professional and these bats made me look good even when I got out. By the way I struck out looking with the bases loaded in a game this season holding this bat. It felt so comfortable in my hands that I new if I hit the ball it would have been my first Grand Slam. It arrived with a large unpainted rough spot at the very top of the bat just outside the indentation. It covered a quarter to a third of the surface. I had my son check it out and the bat was structurally sound so I opted to keep the bat rather than go through the process of trying to return it. It is sad though to pay that much for a bat and not have it finished correctly. Quality control....where are you? You had to have seen the unpainted area. Why would you ship it out? But like I said, the bat itself was solid and he was very happy to receive it.received the brand new bat in the mail and was really excited... for 140 dollars you would expect the bat to be blemish free. Upon opening the box I noticed almost immediately the logo had a scrape on it already. I normally wouldnt care that much about the blemish on a bat but this is by far the most expensive wood bat I have ever purchased in my entire life. This bat isnt cheap and you would think for that price you would receive that quality. I don't think Ill be buying another bat from Marucci. Ive heard DeMarini and other bat brands sell their blemished bats at discounted prices.Great bat! Love it the weight and quality of the AP5. Just don't buy it through Barry's Athletic Supply. They up charge for the natural handle version, but ship the black handle version.Purchased for a grandson to play ball with. He loves it. Everything about it was as indicated in the original description! ????Bat broke within 2 weeks of delivery. Had maybe 50 hits over that time span. Amazon did send out a brand new bat the very next day.My son loves Marucci bats, especially the AP5 Maple Pro.
