I just read an article today about people posting fake reviews on Amazon and it really ticks me off because I like many other honest folks determine their purchases based on those reviews. So it made me want to go back on my recent purchases and leave actual reviews to help the cause. I bought this lamp because I wanted something very neutral in style that would just kind of go away and also because I wanted something with two light bulbs so that I could get more light in my living room where I don't have overhead lighting. I also really liked that it had oval shades that you can put closer to the wall which really paid off dividends in my situation. These are well-made and sturdy lamps and I would not hesitate to buy this again or recommend it to a friend.
