As the player develops and needs to get acclimated to a BBCOR bat for high school, this is a really good priced bat that you may only need for a season or two before going to a -3. My son enjoyed it and served its purpose well.This is a great bat for young kids transitioning from a teeball bat or 26" youth bat. My son is tall for his age, so the 28" length combined with the -13 drop makes this a perfect combo for him - long enough for his height, but light enough for his age and bat speed. He absolutely loves this bat and was ripping balls with it in the yard last night. It's not cheap, but worth it if you have a kid who's serious about the game like ours.Nice light weight bat that my son enjoys. It has some pretty good pop and wasn't too expensive.goodLove the bat.
