**2019 Axe Element (-12) Fastpitch Softball Bat - Lightweight & Durable for Youth & High School Players - Perfect for Games & Training**

The Axe line of bats have earned their reputation as one of the best alloy bats on the market. After much research, I purchased this bat for my daughter who plays both travel and high school softball. It seemed to be the best bat for the money. It wasn't the cheapest bat on the market, but it was far from the most expensive, and based on the reviews, it seemed to be the best bang for the buck. Our family has one income and three ballplayers, so that's important to us!Getting the bat in her hands confirmed this research. The unique design allows one to significantly increase bat speed. I even tried it in the batting cage and found this to be true. We were so impressed with this bat that I got a similar model for my son, and his team is so enamored with his stick and increased hitting power that I suspect several of his teammates will follow suit.I only have one complaint: the color of this bat is too effeminate, and while softball players are all girls, very few of them are effeminate. Also, the mostly white and pastel colored bat quickly became soiled in spring training, which tends to be a bit wet in these parts. Naturally these complaints are purely cosmetic and don't affect the performance of the bat, but I would recommend to the developers that they change their color scheme with next year's models.Bought for my 10 yr old daughter. You can definitely see a difference when she uses this bat. Shape of handle helps keep her hands in position throughout her swing. Excited to see her play with this bat this year!She used carbon bats but picked this bat over it and balls she hit went just as far if not further than girls that use carbon bats !!!BEFORE SEASON STARTED :I did my research on softball bats . I decided to have my daughter try her very 1st AXE bat . It’s unique in a way that it has a one sided hitting zone and hyper whip end cap . And the handle my daughter says feels good and more natural on her swing .AFTER SEASON REVIEW :So my daughter used this bat all season . The ball never popped off the bat. Its lighter then her old bat. So her 1st tournament game i had her switch back to her Easton Stealth bat . She hit a triple , 2 double , single but the ball went outfield . So it confirmed it wasn't her it was the bat . Im disappointed because i really wanted to like this bat . My daughter still wants to keep it but i don't want her to use it .This bat is awesome for beginners and intermediates. Not only does it aid in the proper grip, but helps the batter with speed and striking power! This is the 2nd AXE bat that I have purchased my daughter.. Her teammates and coaches are so impressed that they are actually switching to an AXE now, too!Great bat my daughter loves it!!BEAUTIFUL! STUNNING! And great for hitting HOMERUNS.
