We had always bought my daughter bats that cost around $100 dollars, not believing there could be that much of a difference between bats. Her coach had her try variety of bats before settling her into a CF4. She hit great with it at batting practice then her coach recommended to me that she replace her bat and he gave us a few options.I cringed at the idea of spending $200 on a softball bat but after some shopping around between the options and seeing how much better my daughter hit with the CF4 than her bat we settle on a new CF7. The grip on this bat seems a little smaller in diameter than most bats. Girls with bigger hands don't seem to like the grip but we knew that going in. My daughter loves it! She's gone from an unreliable batter to a dependable hitter on the team. Her hits are more solid and go further than the same hits with her old bat. This was a purchase well worth the money for us. It's done great things for my daughter self-esteem and confidence at the plate. She hit her first homerun with this bat and then two more after that!I read in some of the other reviews where parents said not to buy this because it's not legal for play but we have not experienced that. It's been inspected by umpires in 3 different leagues and has never been disqualified from play.My daughter loves it, she feels better control when swing bayIts exactly what i ordered! Sometimes i get a little worried about ordering something online because I am afraid that it will not be what i want. But this was exactly what i wanted! There was still the original packaging on it. I already used it once and was so fantastic. I am definitely going to recommend the bat brand to someone else! What i loved the most was the fact that it was so much cheaper doing it online on amazon rather than going to the sports store! The bats in the stores can get expensive which why i was so glad to find this online for a cheaper price!I bought this bat for my daughter to use in college. 2 weeks before she starts playing an they say she can’t use it because it’s not on the NCAA approved list. Should have that in the description so I wouldn’t have wasted $200. Seller was not responsive so my advice is stay away.DeMarini makes quality bats and the CF7 Insane model is no exeption. My daughter plays HS and as with all gear, quality gives you the extra edge. It won't give your girl super-powers but if she has her foundation built, is hitting the ball, has chosen the right length & weight, the CF7 will kick it up a notch and give her the extra confidence and tool to crush those hits.Everything I expected and arrived brand new out of the wrapper. My daughter grew up with DeMarini CF5 bat, but it needed upgraded as she has worn it out. This one is just as powerful and reliable as the name. I'm sure we'll be back in a few years to upgrade again and it will be a DeMarini.Very nice bat. Daughter came from an Easton F1X and she also used a LS Xeno. The Insane was a step up in my opinion. After looking at my 12 year old daughter's swing, she tends to make contact towards the end of the bat, so this bat was great. Contact doesn't sound as loud with the LS Xeno, but it travels a lot further.Great bat! I ordered a 32-22 bat and everything was right except.... it took a minute to come to a conclusion about what was going on. The Knob sticker said 32-23 indicating a drop 9. I believe that it was a simple manufacturing mistake. Still a great bat. Wish I would have got the 33-23.
