We just purchased this bat, so I don't have any review in terms of performance. It looks and feels fine- but is a bit heavy - which is a good sign that it meets new Little League standards designed to protect players by reducing overall ball speed off the bat. This bat meets the current BBCOR standard for Little League baseball (listed at bottom). I have attached a picture of the mark. The current Little League standard varies by division. BBCOR is used in the Senior/Big League level which I believe is Middle School to High School ages in general.Little League will adopt a new bat standard starting in 2018 at which time a new logo/standard (USABat) will need to be on all bats. Info on current and future bat rules is found on the official Little League website. The current Little League standard (as of April 2016) requires BBCOR cert for Senior/Big League levels.Senior/Big League:It shall not be more than 36 inches in length, nor more than 2 5/8 inches in diameter, and if wood, not less than fifteen-sixteenths (15/16) inches in diameter (7/8 inch for bats less than 30") at its smallest part. The bat shall not weigh, numerically, more than three ounces less than the length of the bat (e.g., a 33-inch-Iong bat cannot weigh less than 30 ounces). All bats not made of a single piece of wood shall meet the Batted Ball Coefficient of Restitution (BBCOR) performance standard, and such bats shall be so labeled with a silkscreen or other permanent certification mark. The certification mark shall be rectangular, a minimum of a half-inch on each side and located on the barrel of the bat in any contrasting color. Aluminum and composite bats shall be marked as to their material makeup being aluminum or composite. This marking shall be silkscreen or other permanent certification mark, a minimum of one-half-inch on each side and located on the barrel of the bat in any contrasting color. My son loves this bat. We just had to start going by the new bbcor rules and I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on a bat. This one fits the bill. The balance is great for this price range and he seems to be making pretty good contact. A bunch of the boys on his team have started using his bat over their own. I would definitely recommend. My 12yr old is moving up to middle school ball in the spring, and will need to start using the -3 BBCOR standard. We've only swung this for a single session in the cage, but he loves it. The grip is very nice, and even when hitting a ball off the hands, there was very little vibration. It feels solid so far.I received the bat on the date expected. It was in brand new condition and the bonus for me was the great price I bought it for. Oh and my nephew loves it and it seems like his teammates do too since I see a good amount of them with the same bat!Got this for my 14-year old playing Senior level. The -3 took him a little adjusting to but there is no denying once he got his timing down, the ball was jumping off the bat! Great bat made even better by the price. The bat is great but i was thinking it would be yellow not highlighter colorGreat bat! This is my second purchase of this bat, but a different size. My son loves this Easton, and when he graduated to a -3...he saw this one and said he had to have itIts nice balance goodGreat bat!! Quick delivery. Very happy with my purchase.
