My son has played competitive baseball for years, and he's owned several brands and types of cleats. These are the best-fitting cleats he's ever owned. I've read many reviews on Amazon and researched other sites before deciding on this pair. Here are some (hopefully) helpful tips:--My son sees an orthopedic specialist and wears an insert, and New Balance shoes are their recommendation for fit and comfort.--The cleats have a good cushion, and if your son plays travel ball or tournaments and will be in them a long time, these are the ones you want.--We've noticed that New Balance shoes tend to run small. Like what a lot of reviewers have said, get a half or whole size up.--Consider getting wide, even if your foot isn't wide. My son has a narrow/medium width foot, and we got 12.5 wide and they fit perfectly. Probably should have bought 13 wide because the kid won't stop growing.--Keep in mind "D" is standard width 2E is wide width.Play ball!
