Does a great job reducing sun intensity on the back deck of my boatBought it to shade our south facing deck and sl glass door. Keeps our hvac unit from running full tilt in the summer. Makes deck 8 - 10 degrees cooler. Love it!wrapped this round a pole barn and it works GREAT to keep it cool in thereLiving in Texas the sun during the summer months is extreme. Covering greenhouse has allowed plants to survive.says sun resistant material.... i received the product, its weak plastic. not any where near the quality of a true sail shade... but you get what you pay forUPDATE: So I hung this shade up... it is doing exactly as it should. I am I repeat.... I AM skeptical about its durability.. but it has gone through two rain storms... and 3 VERY heavy wind storms... the wind was strong enough to flex the trees and this tarp did not tear. It held up well... time will tell how it holds up in Arizona sunTwo stars for installation points on shade cloth. Cloth itself is made well, but the grommets are different story. The side that was mounted to carport were missing two grommets and the rest were slightly corroded green. I have bought this shade cloth, so I know it will perform as expected. I didn't return this cloth, because I was half way through the installation. I didn't want to take it all down. I can live with the corrosion and missing grommets.I use these to hang from my deck which is on the west side. They are super! Makes my kitchen much cooler to have the shade, yet I can see through them. Not like a window of course, but I can see what's going on in the pasture behind my house with these.Installed it over my patio. Temperature is so much more cooler. Blocks the blinding sun real good.
