Great little bat , love it so much I sleep with it . Bat will defiantly do what its supposed to do . I will keep this bat for as long as I have the strength to swing it and then pass it on to my favorite person at that time.I use this little bat for checking tires on semi trucks and trailers. It has made of a heavy, heavy duty plastic that will not break. It is weighted in the thicker end with lead for amazing hitting power. I keep it with me in the truck at all times. Feels great in the hand, and feels great to swing. I put a little tape on the handle for grip, but other than that it is perfect out of the box.I wrapped my bat's handle with some bat tape acquired from Walmart's clearance section. Gave it a nicer grip. Even if you can't get cheap bat or grip tape like me, I think adding some is a worthy upgrade.The rating for "light weight" is goofy here. This supposed to be heavy for its size. So you can hit that ball nice and hard. Yeah, that's it.This thing is fantastic, just the right weight and size for indoor and close up defense.This bat is solid. I wouldn’t want to get hit with it. I hear people saying it’s a non lethal option, well it can be but make no mistake, if you hit someone hard with this in the upper body you could definitely put their light out for good. I took a minor swing at a cinder block and the block was toast, not a scratch on the bat. Like any weapon learn how to use it properly or it won’t help you.Love this little bat it's my weapon of choice I'm old and little bat is pretty threatening.I have been buying from cold steel for decades and have never been let down, this bat is no different. It’s super solid and heavy especially towards the business end where it counts. I was looking for a simple and inexpensive but effective less than lethal option to deal with street muggers, and after a lot of thinking this fits the bill. Just carry in a backpack with the end hanging out. Easy to draw in an emergency. You can swing it with one hand, but the beauty is how fast you can swing it with 2.The weight of this thing is supp rising when you pick it up. It is easy to swing but it is pretty heavy and durable. It feels like some sort of composite material and not wood, but I really don't matter. I don't even know if you could cut it with an ax it feels so strong. The size allows you to keep it on a nightstand, under a seat, in a closet at the front door, or in a suitcase if you want.It would also work good playing softball or baseball with your young kids who are not ready for a full sized bat. I took a picture of it in my hand so you get a good representation of the size.Der ist wirklich "short" klein aber fein. Ziemlich unzerstörbar außer man wirft ihn ins offene Feuer oder zersägt ihn (das ist nicht einfach da er mehrere Stahlstreben innen verarbeitet hat).Für kleine Räume oder beengte Verhältnisse super geeignet, ich habe ihn unter meinem Kopfkissen liegen. Einen großen Schläger in einem engen raum zu schwingen ist unvorteilhaft im Vergleich zu diesem kleinen aber schweren Teil (ca.500g schwer).Von daher gibs 5 Sterne von mir.This product arrived quickly. The packaging was nice and easy to open.The product itself is beautiful. The feeling of holding in your hand is satisfying, and is weight of it is fantastic. I truly feel it is indestructible.I can definitely see people using this if they're hunters, fishing, go camping, etc. There are a lot of uses for it. I don't recommend carrying it on you publicly/in your car if you don't have the intention to use to for one of the aforementioned reasons or anything similar to them. It can be used around the house for various tasks , or to be added to a collection. Nonetheless, the product is perfect and if you seem to have a use for it then definitely buy it. I just bought it to add to my collection/add to the man cave. It's really cool.
