Super bueno ? ?I was a bit hesitant to buy since the rating was low, which surprised me for a Miken Freak. The lone “bad” review really brought the average down since there weren’t many reviews in total.... so I took a chance. Really glad I did! I brought this bat, in wrapper, to our first 11” slow pitch season opener. It was hot from our first at bat! Great pop and distance - I bought the 27 oz. balanced, 34”. My first at bat went deep center when I was swinging for a single to get an RBI.. didn’t expect the distance! Most gals bring there own bats, but everyone wanted to swing the FREAK! It was fun and it’s definitely a 5 star bat. It also arrived 2 days early which was nice. For perspective, we’re a veteran team with most of us playing softball since we were teens, and together for 10+ years. I’m very happy to start this season with this bat!Great pop. We have to get bats certified every year this bat will not pass next year. It barely passed this yearNot as much pop off the bat as I had hopedDo not order this bat or any bat from Miken. Unless you want to be out $300+ and only be able to use the bat for a few months.I play softball every summer. Most recently, I bought the 2021 Miken Primo bat because I wanted to upgrade my game, hit better and hit further. It worked for a few games, then after one summer of play, the bat broke. I was within warranty so they were able to send me a replacement. I used the second bat THREE games before it broke. I called Miken again, and they said the cannot replace my bat because I am now outside of the timeframe of warranty. Now I am stuck with a bat I had to glue back together because they won’t replace it. I am super disappointed, and will never buy a bat from here again, and I hope I save you the trouble.To add - I’ve tried to use two other bats from Miken and they each broke, and each in different ways. The original one I bought split at the upper barrel. The second one, the core of the bat broke out, and flew into the outfield. After trying out four different models, I think I've learned my lesson.Not ready out of the box. Needed to be broken in. Took about 50 hits.Great bat!! Purchased for a co-ed slowpitch softball tournament. Arrived the Friday before the tournament and we took turns batting with it to break it in. 7 homeruns hit during that practice session, even the girls were hitting deep balls to the outfield!! Quick break in bat, with lots of pop!Hit one over the fence on my first swing. This is the perfect bat if you played fast pitch before and are used to a more balanced weight distribution. I am definitely not a power hitter but this bat still helped me launch the ball.
