My son is playing on an 8th grade feeder team and after talking to coaches and researching this one seemed like a good one. While heavier than previous bats he used, he has adjusted to the different length and weight just fine. No game action yet, but in cages, off of tee and soft toss this seems like a good bat.Got this so I could hit balls at the cages with my boys. Love it. Pretty top heavy but feels good and lots of pop.Had this bat for awhile now. Still going strong and the kids I've coached from Majors, juniors into seniors all love using it at practice. Even though it's big for most of them, they love it too.By far the best bat Easton has made yet. My son has had the Easton S-1, Mako, and now Z-CORE Hybrid. The Z-Core HYBRID has an end loaded feel and the ball has good "pop" off of the "long" sweet spot. My son likes the aluminum barrel as compared to the composite barrel . He feels there's more action off of the aluminum barrel. I highly recommend this bat!Great value! This bat was more expensive at the store, but we saved a lot of money using Amazon. It's exactly what my son needs for spring baseball.Being in Michigan we have played games in 36 degree weather.
