If you are planning to seal your attic prior to adding insulation you need this. It works as advertised to reach the eaves and other hard to reach areas. I even used it for tops of walls, as I didn't have to bend over or get on my knees to do it. Good luck doing the same with the 12" version. Make sure that you have plenty of cleaner handy, however, to make sure that you have enough to clean your gun. I ran out and had to play the transfer game between an almost empty can and the empty can. Also, don't forget to spray cleaner until it runs clear and close the knob at the back when done and leave the cleaner can attached. I know the instructions say that you don't have to leave the can, but I don't think it's worth the risk. Also, don't clean the ball at the end with anything abrasive or metal, unless you want to mess up the seal. As it is, the seal isn't the greatest and I could hear hissing with the can installed even without pulling the trigger. This means that when you're done with the work for the period or the day, clean your gun or you'll be buying another one. I give it 5 stars, since it does what it was supposed to and it cut my time drastically.
