Upgraded to a little longer and heavier bat at the midpoint of the season. Prior to using this bat he was a singles hitter with occasional doubles power. By season's end, he has hit 10 HR's, moved to 5th in the order hitting ropes to the gaps. Don't get me wrong, he has to put a good swing on the ball and all that. We have the same coaching and playing similar talent but getting a heavier bat that can reach the outside part of the plate has made a huge difference. My son plays 12U this year and started with a drop 10 bat. Knowing next year he had to switch to a heavier bat, we got it for him early so he can use it all next year as well. If you are wondering, get your son the heavier bat now. They will adjust quickly and see results. Upgrading from a drop 10 to a drop 8 was huge. We may jump early again and get a u14 bat (drop 5) for 13U next year. This bat has held up to travel, tourneys and 12U All-Stars and several teammates trying it. A quality bat all the way around! This is a very good bat at a very reasonable price. Sounds great and has a lot of pop right out of the wrapper. I would buy this one again without hesitation. My 12yo is playing some USSSA tournaments for All Stars. He loves it. Will only use it this summer because he goes to BBCOR next year. Doesn’t seem worth it to spend a couple hundred more for a composite bat. His friends love it too.Good bat for the money. My 13u son has already had quite a few hits with it.Lots of pop and very well balanced.Great item!!This bat is a good travel bat for 10u and up. Lots of pop ball jumps off the bat highly recommendMy son has hit with everything from the cheapest to literally the most expensive bats out there. We’ve owned several solid bats ourselves, and this one has been a great addition. It has a huge barrel and sweet spot, and it has lots of pop as well. For the price, it’s tough to beat.
