I got this bat a month or two ago after my old bat that I loved (2018 DeMarini end-loaded Flipper) cracked. I found that they stopped making the Flipper model, so I tried this Juggernaut with the same specs as my previous bat, and so far it hasn't measured up to the old one. It feels different somehow (less stiff?), and I am not hitting the ball as far as I used to. I noticed that when I choke up a bit, I seem to have better luck, which leads me to think that maybe this bat is more end-loaded than the Flipper was. I would rather have a bat that I don't have to choke up on all the time. I am thinking that the 27-oz version might have been more comparable to my old 28-oz flipper, but at $300, I can't afford to do more experimentation. Some people have told me that it might just need to be broken in more, but I contacted DeMariini and they said it should have been hot out of the wrapper.End cap came off on 1st swing, requiring repair. Most of the team has used it and everyone has like the feel and the pop. Great bat.After receiving this bat sooner than expected, I took it to the batting cage to break it in. Didn’t take long to drop nukes! Love this bat.I hit really well but with this bad boy I smack the crap out of the ball. Huge sweet spot!
