When I looked at Shoeless Joe gloves and read some of the reviews, I got the impression that this glove would be overly soft with a nostalgic, old school look and feel. What was delivered to my door was something much different than I had expected, and much better! This glove is crafted of beautiful tobacco-colored leather that will require some, but not a lot of, breaking in. The look and feel is exceptional as is the craftsmanship. With out a doubt, this is one of the nicest gloves I've put on my hand including some more expensive Nokona, Mizuno, and Rawlings mitts. If you're looking for an all purpose fielding glove, this may be exactly what you're looking for. For the money, I believe it's an exceptional value.
