I was looking for a new bat for my 8 year old son and with the new bat restrictions comming, I didn't want to break the bank. I also wanted him to swing a longer bat. He was using a 28 /15. He really liked the weight, but he needed a longer bat. After some research, I decided on the 30" S2. I like the 2 piece construction with the aluminum barrel, but had some concerns about the durability based on other reviews.My son loved the bat and couldn't wait to use it. We went out to the field and his first swing stung his hands. After some adjustments and encouragement to swing harder, he finally started driving the ball like I had not seen before.We have had the bat now for two months and his hitting has come a long way. He now stands in the box with greater confidence. Last week drove the ball over the right fielder's head for his first HR. So far we have had no damage but I do make sure the bat is well cared for. This bat should get us through to the new bat specs at which time we will get something with a bit more weight, but I can't imagine a more perfect bat for my son at this point.Excellent bat for my 10 year old. We don't mind buying good equipment for our son but we are certainly not going to overspend on a $200-300 Mako for a kid. We got him the 31" bat. It is a bit too big for him this year but he will be able to use it for 2-3 years. He just has to choke up a bit this year. He loves it. It looks great. It even matches his black and green Rawlings glove.My 12 year old son has never been a great hitter but the first time using this bat in a game, he hit a double. The ball was hit over the left fielders head, which is the furthest he has ever hit a baseball. I am not sure if it is the bat or just the bat giving him confidence, but he seems to be hitting the ball harder.I bought this bat for my 7 year old son for fall baseball last year. He absolutely loved it. The ball seems to come off of the bat very well. My son is able to control his swing nicely with this bat. I would highly recommend this bat for baseball players who are just starting to learn the game.Great bat for my 9 year old, we can go to the cage for 2 hours and his hands won't hurt like when using a one piece aluminum bat. This bat also has some really nice pop and is a lot lighter than the Easton Mako which is all composite.This was my first buy from amazon, I was pleased with the bat and the fast delivery.This bat is great. Most used bat on the team. Too bad we won't be able to use it next year with our Little League moving to Big Barrel bats.Good quality bat we bought the 30/17 and it has a sweet spot that would amaze anyone using/batting with it. Great color which hasn't fade
