play senior softballIt's not like the old school one. It has some pop. There are better bats on the market. I love Miken bats but this is not the hottest bat.Got this bat at the start of my senior softball season, so have been hitting with it for about 6 weeks now. I picked it because it was ranked #2 on a top 10 list I found and a lot less costly than #1. I am very happy with it, but cannot say I experienced what was said in a lot of the rave reviews of this bat. It is not a miracle for increasing your power to put it over the fences, but solid contact does reward you.I have owned several of these bats. For me they are about the hottest out there, but they do break easily and like many senior bats, they have no warranty. In our dugout about half the bats there are Ultra 2's. Check your league's rules, most recreational leagues will not allow senior bats to be used.Great bat, seems to have a large sweet spot.I’m 67yo and in a Senior Softball League, last year I was only batting around .400 mostly all singles. I decided to buy the Miken Ultra this year. So far after 15 games, I have 4 home runs, 3 triples, 7 doubles , and my average is .750 !!! The only main difference between last year and this year is the new Miken Ultra 2 bat.My team mates love this bat, got it at a good price and the next day after ordering it.I have played super competitive ball for the past 30 years. "A, B, open, now Senior major and have used Miken products ever since they were introduced to the market. Ultra, Ultra 2, Freak, Freak plus, Freak 98....etc. All were great products and great durability. The Ultra 2 that i purchased had about 250-300 swings on it and broke over the weekend. At least in the past, they had a warranty in the event their product failed in such a short period of time with limited use. The lack of warranty will lead me to a different manufacturer until they start to stand behind their products again.I Play in a 50 and older league with an any bat rule. The night before the first game, out of the new package, I hit about 120 balls to break it in. The night of the game, which was tonight, in the 4th ending I hit a 450 footer over the fence, which is 12 feet high and into the skate board ring! For a Home run with two others on base. Two other batters hit the fence, which is at 280 feet and in warmup before the game one other hit over the fence, shucks didn't count. Hands down, this is the best bat I have ever had the pleasure to swing in an any bat rule league, where the bat has not been rolled, shaved or tuned to the balls we use (.44 375 Trump Stote Rock Softballs).Estoy en un dilema, verificando el bat y la forma de los sellos me acabo de percatar que los sellos que tiene este bat se ven diferentes, por lo que estoy considerando que este bat podría ser una copia :/ alguien me podría ayudar en decirme si lo que pienso esta bien o mal?Très bon bâton. A augmenté considérablement la productivité de mon équipe de slow pitch féminine.Es un bat muy bueno, compré uno 34'' x 30 oz y en verdad era poderoso pero en muy poco tiempo y uso se fracturó. Me habían comentado que no lo comprara por esa razón pero me arriesgué y vaya que sucedió.The bat is evenly balanced and have GIANT sweet spot! This bat is so powerful.
