This set is the perfect Lego Batman set after your little ones outgrow Duplo Batman. I give this lego juniors set five stars because it is fun for my five-year-old to build, plus it is large and complex enough for him and his three-year-old sibling to play with simultaneously after it is built. With three minifigures, two computers, a map, a phone, a jail, a batmobile and a gate to crash through, and a Joker's hammer and catapult, the two of them can play together with little argument over who gets what. The set retails at about $30 for the 150 pieces, which seems too expensive, but actually it is worth it. If you are wondering what makes a lego set "juniors", compare this 150-piece set for $30 with the 134-piece Lego Batman Penguin face-off set for $11. You might be tempted to get the cheaper Lego batman set, but although they have a similar piece count, the lego juniors set has much bigger pieces (still fully compatible with all other lego pieces) so the final build is much larger. For comparison, our penguin face-off set fits in a plastic sandwich Baggie while the lego juniors batcave needs a gallon size bag. (I do recommend the penguin face-off set as well!) Also, to the person asking if these lego pieces are compatible with duplo, yes! The bigger ones are! The bigger Lego pieces (like the chunky bricks) click right on to duplo blocks.Happy with the lego product. It was as described and arrived on time!My niece asked for this Lego set for her birthday. She was happy with her gift. This is our first "Lego Junior" set after building many 7+ sets with our 5 year old son and I'm really impressed. I will buy more juniors now. While he's muddled through the older sets they take him a long time and a lot of help, he was starting to get disheartened and after the initial box opening/minifigure assembly it was a struggle to get him to finish the 7+ lego sets. This is perfect for his skill level and he can finish it in one sitting. It made a big difference to his confidence with lego, the minifigures are the right size.I'm really pleased and will be sticking to juniors for a while yet for both of my kids. Although they've made it through sets like the Lion Chi Temple and Cinderellas Castle this was more fun and less stress to build, I regret buying the older sets now, although they do love the finished product of them. It's marketed as the bridge between Duplo and Lego and it is, it's a lot like lego sized Duplo sets, in fact we have a Duplo house with very similar wall pieces.4 year old son loved it. Very easy to follow instructions. I like how the JUNIORS set has the pieces in pre marked bags. So instead of heaving a building piece in one bag and another piece in a separate bag, all the pieces for a corresponding object are in the same bag. Then you move onto bag 2. Bags are labeled 1, 2, etc. And instructions tell you which bag to open. You will not have to open all the pieces bags and scatter them all over the place. This keeps building for little kids not as frustrating when hunting down pieces. Some bags will have more than one object to build, but again, not as frustrating as scattering pieces all over the place. My 4 year old grandson loved this. Perfect for his age....not duplo or sets with hundreds of pieces. This was the best gift for my nephew. It was fun and easy to assemble. This is a great set. I purchased it at a reduced price because the box was damaged. All the pieces were perfectly in tact. Customer service was amazing and I received my package very fast. I am very happy with this purchase as are my little ones. Well worth it.Great for this age group. Not too many pieces and still funEasy to build. My 6 year old had no trouble with it. Tons of detail and great at holding kids interest.son loves itThe kids love it and have gotten so much play out of it. You can't go wrong with LEGO.
