If God used a bat, he would use this one. I've been playing school ball for about five years now and had to buy a new bat a few weeks ago and decided to choose this one....and despite it being a little pricey, it was a very good...no...EXCELLENT investment! This bat delivers line drives and hard hits like theres none tomorrow! It makes a very distinct "ting" sound that appears to sound like braking glass, which sends chills throughout the infield.As far as I know in minnesota (not sure about the rest of US), next year, only bats with BBCOR rating are being allowed. This bat has a rating BBCOR of .5, which is legal next year. If anyone is looking for a new bat in the BBCOR rating and wants their investment to pay off, I would suggest choosing this one! Despite having a V-grip that can take some getting use to, it's very well worth it. Anyone with a halfway decent fundamentals will be able to send a ball screaming through the outfield with this bat.In conclusion...BUY THIS BAT!My son really likes his new bat. It took him a while to get used to the v-shaped grip, but he's getting the hang of it.Great bat met all expectations as all Mattingly bats, wouln't hesitate to recommend Mattingly to anyone who is lookoing for a quality bat.The vgrip provides an awesome sweet spot,very nice bat.Im telling all the other coaches and parents on our ball team about the bat.We love it!!!!This is a great brand new bat at 1/5 retail price. My son likes the V-grip. A good BBCOR bat.Absolutely awesome bat for high school ball
