We’ve been through Dimarini CFs and Glitches - all of them broke. This is THE, and I mean THE only two piece composite that my 12U son has used that didn’t break, lasted an entire travel ball season, and got hotter throughout this years season. We had kids who were swinging Dimarinis - whose bats broke and couldn’t get them replaced in a reasonable time - all started swinging this bat for the remainder of the season. We had 3 dingers in a single game off of this bat alone. And it’s hotter than when my son unwrapped it still!Easton is on to something with the revitalization of the TCT composite and their barrel connections. It’s SUPER durable and crazy hot - buy it!Nice bat so far. Has been hitting pretty good so far with practice and training but the season hasn't started yet for us. Hopefully we won't be disappointed.Hot out of the wrapper but will still require a little breaking it to make it top notch. Seems to be built really well and solid for a composite. My son likes it and swaps between this and an alloy, depending what type of pitching he's seeing. This bat is awesome. It is hot right out of the wrapper. So, what are you paying for versus other cheaper models. First, you are paying for build quality. It is incredibly durable. You are also paying for balance and power. It is incredibly well balanced through out the entire swing. The sweet spot is generous which allows for a little more miss without sacrificing power. This is our go to bat.Great bat, very balanced and well made. Impressive results in the right handsWhoah! This bat is lightweight, well balanced and so well made, your kid will feel like a pro. Allows for easy grip and powerful swing. It pops beautifully! The quality and performance of this bat is very good. The 2 piece, all composite construction virtually eliminates all sting on mishits, which is great for keeping kids swinging confidently. As with all composite bats, it is necessary to take some time initially to properly break the bat in. If you aren't familiar with breaking in a composite bat, it's not tremendously difficult, but takes a little bit of time and effort at the beginning. Essentially, you want to take about 200 moderate swings off of a tee and/or soft toss while regularly rotating the bat in your hands so that it is breaking in evenly around the entire bat instead of hitting it in the same spot over and over again. After that, you can use the bat as usual off of live pitch. As the bat gets broken in, performance gets even better.Even during the initial break in process, this bat is pretty hot out of the wrapper. The overall construction is excellent. The swing weight is nice and balanced. This bat also has really nice "pop" and a decently sized sweet spot. I am a big fan of the Louisville Slugger Prime 2 piece composite bats (the most recent iteration is the Meta, which is very similar but slightly different than the last few Prime models). I was very pleased to see that this Easton Hype bat compares very favorably to the Prime. In many respects, they are very similar bats in build quality, materials, and performance. If you are looking for a high performing USSSA bat, this is an excellent option worthy of your consideration.I am not a pro on bats but I got this for my nephew who was signed up for classes but was in need of a new bat. The one he had before - literally broke down (different brand and company)I was impressed by easton and this specific item is such a good quality to price deal! I was impressed! My nephew loved it too and says it is better than what he had before. Sturdy and fast!
