You can activate the remap program during the game and assign maximum 15 buttons (X, O, Triangle, Square, Up, Down, Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, L3, R3, Touchpad ) to the rear buttons. Rubberized handles can enhance hand feeling and get a better grip to your controller.

Package contains: RIVAL PRO Controller, 6 in 1 interchangeable thumbsticks, user manual, after-sales service card. Please note controller doesn't come with cable or any other accessories. Controller does not fit the official charging station.
Remote had significant stick drift straight out of the box, which I fixed, but was still annoying. Thought that the Rival Pro 4 back paddle/ button configuration would be better than the Ultimate, but it's still ergonomically awkward. Forget using any KF's on these interchangeable thumbsticks, because they're going to pop right out of the controller in the middle of gameplay. Given that pretty much everything on the Matte Black version feels stock OEM, I was surprised by the significantly shorter battery life.Is it playable? Yes, especially if you only use 2 back buttons/paddles. Should you spend $200+ on this controller? Absolutely not. Spend a little extra on a 4-Button Battle Beaver for $228 (and maybe die before it every gets delivered) or a SCUF Reflex FPS at $250.Not hating on Hex, I like their Advance XBOX controller with trigger stops. Unfortunately this product is just extremely overpriced for something that can be entirely accomplished through tedious, but cheap, ER mods. The right and left triggers don’t work like it was said in the description. It’s very pricey and the analog sticks keep breaking offOne side effect of Sony putting so much cool technology (adaptive triggers, haptic feedback) into the DualSense controller is that it makes third party PS5 controllers really expensive. They basically cost 40%-60% of the console itself, which is pretty crazy if you think about it. If I had to guess, I would say that most of these companies are incapable of making the internal components of these controllers, and they are just buying DualSense controllers and modifying them (rather than manufacturing and assembling everything themselves). This would explain why these controllers are so ridiculously expensive. The first important thing that you need to realize with this controller is that adaptive triggers goes completely out the window. Maybe you don’t care and you only want a short travel distance for better responsiveness, but I think they should have given us the both. A switch like Xbox pro controllers have to adjust the travel of the analog triggers, this would have been best. The four buttons on the bottom of the controller are nice, I prefer this style and layout over the paddles that you see on Xbox Pro controllers. To me, this layout is more intuitive and easier to utilize. Although the two innermost buttons are slightly more out of the way but not very hard to press. You program them manually by holding down the bottom button until you see the red LED flash a few times, then you hold down whatever button you want to map to the bottom custom button. It’s really easy once you do it a few times. An app on the PS5 would have been better but Sony doesn’t do that, they only allow games and streaming apps (as well as their own built-in applications like a web browser). I wish they would be more like Xbox and allow controller and headset companies to release companion apps.Thankfully, haptic feedback is still present, so you still get that feature with this controller. The joysticks can be swapped out for taller sticks and there both concave and convex types. That’s basically everything you get with this though: shorter L2/R2 travel distance (at the cost of adaptive triggers), a custom shell, swappable joysticks, and the four programmable buttons on the bottom.Ultimately, I think this is a good controller that can improve your ability to play competitive games. Unfortunately, it’s priced way too high and I wouldn’t have spent my own money on this. I would wait until Sony announces the price on their DualSense Edge controller to see if it’s a better value, in my opinion, it probably will be.The positives: It has a speaker, hd rumble, mute button, and touchpad. All of which the standard ps5 controller has. It’s “upgrades”: It has a rubber grip, 4 programmable back buttons/paddles, and interchangeable thumb stick caps. Now negatives:1. in my opinion, the included thumb sticks, all of which are taller than the standard ps5, get in the way of properly using the touchpad.2. The back paddles prevent a proper grip on the controller which can cause hand cramps after a while. Also, you cannot use most charging docks with them.3. The back buttons can only be mapped to existing buttons on the controller so I never found a useful need for them. Maybe if you have some disability where you can’t press certain buttons.4. The triggers can only be pressed a little bit activating a digital signal. While this is useful for shooting games, it ruins any experience such as racing games because of the lack of an analog signal.5. For $230, the lack of haptic triggers is very off putting…Overall, it functions decently as a ps5 controller but definitely not for the price. Not recommended at all.I ordered this for my significant other who is big into gaming.PROS:+ Has all of the standard PS5 controller settings: mute, speaker, touchpad and rumble.+ Upgraded rubber grip, 4 programmable back buttons/paddles, interchangeable thumb stick caps.+ Ergonomic designCONS:- EXPENSIVE!!!!!- Thumb sticks are taller than the standard PS5 controllerSummary:If you're just using 2 of the back buttons/paddles, save your money - it's not worth spending $290 on this controller - just get a regular PS5 controller. However, if you're going to be utilizing all 4 back buttons/paddles this is a great controller. But I still think it's entirely too expensive and I would NEVER spend my hard earned money on this.
