This bat swings really light and so my son has great bat speed with this. He uses it for days when he's up against a pitcher throwing smoke or on days that are colder than 55F and can't use his composite stuff.The reason this bat swings so light and fast is because of the balance. All my kids bats are the same weight and drop. I'd put this bat up against any of the Marucci alloy bats, for about 1/2 the cost. Also, a well struck ball has a great sound to it. Makes people look over to see where it went. Maybe the moon. Grip is also very comfortable. Only bat in the stable he didn't want a new grip.
