I have learned to appreciate value and actively look for it in anything I want to buy. Footwear is one area I try not to splurge but after several decent buys under $50, I was not happy - the look, the fit, the color, the quality - all mediocre. For a quality shoe, I limit myself to old school brands like Florsheim and Bally of Switzerland. This was a gamble since I usually only get dress clothes with those brands. After using these shoes in the Philippines for vacation, and my daily use, I am very happy with it. Fit is great, comfort is great, I would buy another pair if the price was a bit lower. Its in my watch list.
