One of the most requested Gremlins figures of all time is finally here! Our latest deluxe action figure from Gremlins 2: The New Batch is the spectacular Bat Gremlin, with a massive wingspan of nearly 18 inches. This detailed re-creation of the puppet seen in Gremlins 2 is fully articulated, including hinged ears, hinged jaw, and jointed arms that allow the wings to spread open and fold closed! At approximately 6 inches tall, it's perfectly in scale with our previous Gremlins action figures, too. Comes with a "flight" display stand.

From the film Gremlins 2: The New Batch
In scale with NECA Gremlins action figures
I've been wanting a Bat Gremlin figure since I started collecting horror movie figures, and last year they finally released one. Getting one for a decent price, especially the postage side of things is a bit of a challenge. Inside the box packaging it isn't that big, nor does it weigh much more than your standard 7 inch Neca Gremlins figures, so there's really no justification for high postage fees. In fact due to the high postage cost most sellers are charging, I was expecting this to be a lot bigger than it is. The figure itself is exactly the same size asNeca has done it again! The much anticipated Bat Gremlin is finally here. I have to say the quality is up to par with the other Gremlins figures Neca has done. The sculpting is very detailed and has a decent amount of articulation for such a high end figure. It's something you could play with and then put on your desk in your office for display. I will say my only issue are the wings. You have to bend them around a little and put them under hot water to get them into the shape you want, but by no means is this a major issue. If you're even considering buying it, just do it! I can easily see this figure going up in price throughout the year in the after market and in a year, who knows how much this will be selling for. You will not regret getting Bat Gremlin!!!my son feel in love with gremlins the moment he saw the movie. I purchased this as a Christmas present and the look on his face when he opened it was worth the price i spent. the figure itself is well made. its very articulate and is large. it spans bigger than both my hands spread apart. the wings are realistic. great mantel decoration as well as toy for any gremlin fan.I love this figure. The detail is insane. The mouth opens a nice distance. The legs move decently. Only con is that the Wings don't really move and it's impossible to stand up. So I tied fishing line to him and hung him from the ceiling. It's amazing.I have it with you spider gremlinOnly issue is the stand is a little unstable but you get to work around it eventuallySo glad I ordered this before the price went up. My grandson absolutely loves this. So realistic and the wings are awesome. This was a gift for my wife who is a collector. She is very happy with it.Beautifully detailed. The texture and coloring is amazing.Incredible! First of all, big thanks to Amazon. My initial order seemed to be bounced around due to delivery issues. I sent an email asking about the status and they cancelled that order and had another arrive within two days. Great service. The bat gremlin was always my favourite character from the sequel, but I never suspected he'd actually be released. Not only is he now available (until sold out), but the quality is absolutely amazing. Great articulation all over the figure that allows for a personalised pose, real character in the gremlin himself that brilliantly replicates the film version, and the texture simply feels right.Even the packaging is great. It's not quite big enough to encompass the full width of the wings (you might need a hair dryer to loosen up the wings, but use the low heat), but it has a nice chapel display. The figure also slides out easily if you want to keep the box in a good condition. The stand gets a bit of stick in some reviews, but it clips on firmly and can be displayed in four ways depending on your preferences. Personally I think it is essential.Overall this is an outstanding piece from NECA. It could easily double as a film prop. Gremlins fans will adore this as it really couldn't be better.Brilliant. This compliments my collection of NECA Gremlins nicely. Cudos for the delivery too as it arrived a day before the scheduled delivery date! The figure has multiple points of articulation (both ears, jaw, neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists as well as hips, knees and ankles) the wings on the back can also be altered - but have limited movement die to the nature of the wings and their attachment to the body.As with NECA's other Gremlin figures, this one has a superb paint job and beautiful sculpt so it resembles the Bat-Gremlin from the movie as closely as possible. The main body (and limbs) are the usual hard plastic but the wings are a soft (if thick) vinyl material (the kind that most NECA figures capes and coats are made of) with what feels like wire support in the main part of the wing. It comes nicely packaged in a card box (with clear window) with a print of a cathedral roof on the front (echoing the movie). When taken out of the box you'll notice that there are no plastic ties holding it in place - just the shaped insert - so setting the figure up takes no time at all (you won't need to waste time un-twisting fiddly pieces of wire). The figure comes with a clear plastic stand that's incredible easy to assemble and attach (it clips around the Gremlin's waist from behind - so it's pretty discreet) and it gives the appearance of the gremlin hovering as if flying. It's worth getting the figure out of the box as soon as you receive it as the wings are curled around (so it fits inside) but in packaging it in that way there's a tendency for the wings to stay in a curled shape. It's fairly easy to uncurl them and 'train' them to retain their spread-out shape, so the sooner you do that the better. One thing also worth mentioning is that this is quite wide once the wings are unfurled. Mine is around 17 inches wing-tip to wing-tip (and that's still with a bit of a curve to the wings) so you'll need to factor in space if you're planing on displaying this with your other figures.Overall, well worth getting if you've collected all or any of the others in this line. Although a little more expensive than what I'd normally pay for a NECA figure these newer Gremlin releases only seem to be available for a limited window only so it's worth picking one up before they disappear.Get it before it skyrockets in price like the spider gremlin. Top notch paint and mould again from neca.well presented in box looks great another addition to my collectionI have loved the gremlins from the first time I saw the commercials advertising the movie in the 80's, and though I'm not a huge fan of part two because they go way too far with the lampooning of themselves, I loved the design of the new batch's nastier looking members. This was a fav, and I'm glad they decided to make a figure of it!Spot on sculpt and paint, and with a little heating of the wings to get them in proper shape, a really amazing, if not slightly unnerving piece! When a bat winged gremlin smiles like that.. you should be worried.
