My ten year old travel player has the 30/20 version of this bat and loves it. I believe that a one-piece aluminum is best at the younger ages because the hitter doesn't have to hit the ball at the apex of his swing to really drive it. With two-piece bats there can be a "drag" on a swing when contact is made if your timing isn't just right. This bat has great pop, no sting and is a great value - especially since they grow out of them so quickly.Great bat. Son loves using it. Great pop, he doesn't notice any stinging.
