My wife thinks I am Bat sXXX crazy for buying this. Its well made though. A metaphor is a comparison without using "like" or "as". So if you would say "Her face turned as red as a tomato" it would be wrong, but you could say "She turned tomato-red" and you would be right. You have to think about your subject, lets say being down on your self and a friend helps lift your spirits. Now you have to mirror that situation to another situation that's the same... You can do this metaphorically by using something like a flower not getting any water and is slowly fading until someone comes by and waters it making it grow strong again.That little paragraph about the flower and the water would be a metaphor for a friend helping a friend. That’s what I am doing here with this review.
