The Baseball Bat Speed Chains - High School is typically used by high school hitters. The basic concept of SpeedChains is based on movement specific variable resistance. With the Baseball Bat Speed Chain, movement begins with smaller, lighter chain links allowing high acceleration and progressess to larger, heavier gauges of chain requiring maximum force as movement passes through the hitting zone. This allows for the athlete to simultaneously train for both bat speed and power, making SpeedChain unique from other training aids available on the market today. The Bat Speed Chain allows an athlete to work through the same range of motions and at the same speed as he/she does during a game. The chain is able to creat a bat lag that replicates the feeling of swinging a bat and with the weight of the chain this isolates the wrists and arms to help strengthen them. Muscularly mature athletes, including those considered strong for their age group, should consider using a heavier Bat Speed Chain. Athletes taller than 6 foot 4 inches should add extensions to this product. Chain ends should never be allowed to come off the ground/floor or gather around the feet during the exercises.
