Awesome pop, balance and forgiveness. Our whole 9u travel team used this bat in our recent tournament. We liked it so much, I bought the same model in USA!Bought this for my 9U AAA son to use in Spring travel ball. I have pitched about 500 balls to him over the winter breaking it in. In the past 2 years I have bought him more bats to try than I would care to admit. I can tell you that the sweet spot on this bat is so massive that he has never been more consistent with greater distance than he has with the Maxum Ultra! This is a fantastic bat. I bought him the Alpha ALX as well to swing during cold weather games and that is a great bat too.There's a reason kids use this bat and others like it...and not just because parents are trying to show off. This one has pop and it significantly better than other bats in the $200 range. Hot of the wrapper but will still require some break in to get it to full power. Built well and swings nice.Amazing bat. Son loves it, definitely has plenty of drive and great gripnew -10 bat in the maxum lineup for 2022.Doing good in the cages during break-in. Nice sweet spot towards the center.Waiting for the season to get it into some games. The materials and craftsmanship are top notch, matching the price point. Some of the most popular and slightly more expensive USSSA bats are 2 piece composites and those bats are great, but if you want the benefits of composite, but in a more stiff one piece design, this bat is a great option.My sister's youngest has been using this bat for just over a month. He's over the moon with it.His opinion:"This is the most awesome bat ever! I can hit like a mile with it!My impressions:1. The sweet spot is truly massive on this bat.2. This bat has enough pop to it, that it almost concerns me with younger kids using it.3. When solid contact is made, the sound is sublime.4. Vibration in the hands in minimal, especially for a bat of this design.5. It's very durable. He's been taking close to 400 swings with this bat a week, and the surface still looks barely used.6. The handle wrap/grip is actually good for once.Overall:5 stars
