Even if the ball is hit badly, it still makes a satisfying pop sound.The end cap concerns me, but has presented no problems.My son thinks it feels weightier than his other bats of the same length and drop, I think it feels lighter.It swings like any other bat.This bat is a bargain. It specs are similar to all the usssa bats available. You can spend $400+ on a bat nowadays if you want, but your kid won’t hit it any better than this one. I think this is the same as a cat 7, 8, 9 or victus so if you need a one piece aluminum for those cold bat breaking cage sessions or spring tournaments, I recommend that you grab one of these. If your kid is really good or pretty bad or the team shares bats this bat will work. If the kid needs the emotional support of the most expensive bat with the exact same pop but big price tag to match the other travel ball kids then you already know this isn’t the bat your kid wants and telling him it’s just as good won’t make a difference to his feelings so buy the bat he wants so he can fit in. But I am telling you, this f5 is a good bat with good grip and similar swing weight and pop of the highest priced aluminum bats. If the kid struggles, it won’t be because you gave him this bat.The bat itself looked great and my son loved the hand grips.However, I thought I’d save everyone some time and let you know that this is NOT approved for little leagues requiring a USA stamped bat.Unfortunately I had to return it because it is a USSSA bat. I bought it with the hopes the photos just didn’t show the USA logo. That wasn’t the case, they didn’t show the USSSA logo either.Great bat for the price pointSon now hits line drives
